Well it was a great week this week! We had a lot of fun and
learned so much! We had a zone conference in Harlingen and we had some great
training on how to work better with ward members on Sundays and throughout the
week! Afterwards we had a really good evening spending some time with president
at our stake missionary coordination meeting! There is always so much we can do
to further the work of the Lord! It’s so exciting to be a missionary right now!
In Brownsville....it rains and rains! It reminds me of my
senior year back in May when it rained like 38/43 days or something crazy! It
just rains day after day! Its great and we have some fun experiences! The other
day we dashed from the car through pouring rain to go knock on a less actives
house and wound up in front of the wrong door and ended up talking to a man who
was super interested in learning about the gospel! It was a lot of fun and wasn’t
hard for us to see Heavenly Fathers guiding hand! Not much time today but here’s
a scripture that I love so much! One of the things I’m working on right now is
trusting more in God and letting Him have complete control of my mission! Time
is going fast! (the blink year...wow...it feels like yesterday was January this
morning was may and tomorrow is December! wahhh!)
D&C 123:17:
Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all
things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost
assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed
